COMPREHENSIVE EYE EXAMS

Booking in regular eye exams is important as it helps us to detect any eye problems at their earliest stage. We’ll thoroughly assess all aspects of your vision and eye health, screening for the five major causes of vision loss – refractive error (such as myopia and hyperopia – short and long-sightedness), cataract, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease.

Advanced technology

We’re equipped with the latest in advanced eye testing technologies and diagnostic tools, such as our Topcon Maestro 2 dual OCT and Retinal Digital Photo instrument, the gold standard when it comes to diagnosing and monitoring glaucoma. By taking detailed 3D images of the internal structures of the eye and measuring your entire scope of vision, we can detect and diagnose eye conditions much earlier.

Contact lens fittings

Contact lenses have come a long way and there are now a wide range of materials and prescriptions available. We prescribe disposable and conventional contact lenses by the leading brands such as Alcon, Cooper Vision, Johnson & Johnson, and Bausch + Lomb. You can try them on for size with trial lenses and we’ll take you through the process of handling and caring for your lenses.

LENS TECHNOLOGY

Our Optometrist and dispensing staff will work with you to determine the best lens for your individual needs. We offer a choice of the most up to date lens technology available to achieve optimum vision. This may include high index material for thinner and lighter lenses, lenses with UV protection, photosensitive materials that tint in response to sunlight, progressive lenses to provide optimum vision at multiple distances and anti-reflective coatings.
